Fifteen years in law, split down the middle. Seven litigating personal injury cases for Connecticut plaintiffs' firms, where the client is usually having the worst year of their life and the other side has more money. Eight inside an insurer, running legal, claims, underwriting, and appraisal units, where the job was to price risk in advance and put the number in writing.

Those two halves are the whole design of this firm. From the plaintiff side: nobody should have to guess what a lawyer costs, and nobody should find out their case was weak six months in. From the carrier side: a narrow, repeatable matter can be priced like a product, with the risk carried by the person who knows how to measure it.

So the practice is two case types, marriage green cards and citizenship, each with a published price, each held to a published scope. Cases that fall outside that scope are declined at the screening stage and referred, because taking them would break the math for everyone else.

Why immigration? Fifteen years of watching legal fees turn one problem into two, and I wanted work where preparation decides the outcome and the stakes are worth preparing for. A marriage green card or a citizenship case is a family's whole life in this country, and those families deserve to hear the price said plainly before they sign anything.
