Money
The price and the trust account.
It is the whole attorney fee for the services listed on the pricing page. Government filing fees are separate and paid by you directly to USCIS. The add-ons, like an attorney attending your interview, are listed with their prices before you sign anything. Nothing is quoted later.
Your payment sits in a client trust account and moves to the firm only as each published stage is completed. If you end the engagement early, the stages we have not completed are refunded, with a written statement showing the math. The word nonrefundable does not appear in our agreement.
Yes, on both case types: $995 to begin, then $500 per month for 6 months. Installments go into the trust account and follow the same stage rules. By default we file once the fee is paid in full, and we say so before you choose the plan.
It is a video call with the attorney, not a sales call. We confirm eligibility against your actual documents, walk through the government fees and the realistic timeline for your office, and send you a written case plan afterward. It costs $149 because it is legal work, and the full amount is credited against the flat fee if you engage within 30 days.
Process
How the case actually runs.
Yes. Immigration is federal law, and a lawyer admitted in any state can represent you before USCIS anywhere in the country. Everything is done by video and secure upload, so where you live changes your field office, not the process or the price.
Yes. Software runs the checklists, the document collection, and the deadline tracking. A lawyer makes every judgment call and reviews every page before it is filed. That split is what keeps the fee where it is.
USCIS processing times change monthly and vary by field office, so we do not quote a timeline we cannot control. We link you to the government's current estimate for your office, and you hear from us at every stage, and on a fixed schedule in between, whether or not anything has changed.
Attendance is an add-on with a published price plus travel, or by video where the field office permits it. The mock interview by video is included in every case, and for a straightforward file it is the part that matters.
It is free. Your answers are used to decide whether the case fits and, if it does, to prepare for the strategy call. They are not sold, shared, or used for anything else. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship, and we say so on the form.
Fit
Whether you qualify.
Those cases are outside our scope, along with removal orders, criminal history, and anything needing a waiver. The screening will say so in minutes, and we will refer you to a lawyer who handles that kind of case where we have one. There is no fee for being told no.
Not under the flat fee. Spouses of permanent residents wait for a visa number and follow a different path, so we refer those cases out rather than price them badly. If your spouse naturalizes first, the case becomes one we take.
Each child's case is a separate agreement with its own fee, quoted during the strategy call once we know the child's age, entry, and status. It is not folded into the marriage fee, because it is not the same case.
A single trip of six months or more raises a presumption that you broke continuous residence. Some trips can be explained with evidence that your life stayed here; some reset the clock. We review every trip during the eligibility review, before you spend the government fee.
When it goes wrong
Denials, requests, and the second interview.
Routine requests for evidence are inside the flat fee on both case types. We tell you what was asked, what we are sending, and when it went out.
Responses to a denial or a notice of intent to deny are outside the flat fee, and we say so up front rather than in fine print. If it happens, we quote that work separately or refer you to a lawyer who handles it. The screening exists to make this rare: we only take cases we expect to be approved.
In a marriage case, the officer can separate the spouses and ask each the same questions to compare answers. It is uncommon in a well-documented case. If it is scheduled, representation at it is outside the flat fee and quoted separately.
